How affiliation actually works
A college in Nepal partners with a university in the UK, the US, Australia or Europe. The partner university sets the curriculum, approves the teaching staff and quality-assures the assessment; the college delivers the programme locally. You study in Nepal, and the degree is awarded and certified by the overseas university.
Who it suits
- Students who want an international qualification at a fraction of the total cost
- Students who would rather not carry the visa risk of applying overseas straight after +2
- Students who plan to do a bachelors at home and a masters abroad
- Students with family or work commitments that make relocating difficult
The cost difference is the point
Studying at home removes international tuition, overseas living costs, flights, insurance and the proof-of-funds requirement. For many families that is the difference between an international degree being possible and being out of reach.

- Which university actually awards the degree, and confirm it on that university's own website
- Whether the programme is recognised for further study in the countries you might move to later
- The full fee schedule for every year, not just year one
- Graduate outcomes - where recent cohorts actually ended up
