About Dublin Business School

Established in 1975, Dublin Business School, Dublin (DBS) was earlier known as Accountancy and Business College offering evening courses for students preparing for exams of professional accounting bodies. Now, Dublin Business School offers career-focused education in various areas depending on the demands of the sector. The business school has 3 campuses in Dublin’s Aungier Street, George’s Street, and Balfe Street. Out of these, there are 2 main campuses in Aungier Street and George’s Street. They are located close to each other and provide students access to all the infrastructure capabilities of a modern capital city. DBS is home to more than 9,000 students and the student ratio at the business school is such that students and faculty can interact and collaborate on projects and network easily. Academics at DBS extend beyond Ireland’s borders. This Business school has ties with many institutions in Europe, Asia and in countries like the USA. It offers courses accredited by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). It also works with the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) to help them publish study materials. Over the years, the Business School has honed talent from around the world and given the world changemakers in a wide range of fields. The university has a community for alumni on LinkedIn where students can network with past students for guidance after completing their study in Ireland.
